Part 3

The trigrams in the Fu-Xi Order present on the one hand organs which belong to one original element and on the other hand - the "wonderful" meridians.

It should be possible to assume that if the same meaning of pulse in the organs which belong to one original element displays in the pulsegram, one has to influence the corresponding "wonderful" meridian.

Picture25 => corresponds to Ying Wei Mai => Meridian in the state of Excess (+)

Picture26 => corresponds to Chong Mai => Meridian in the state of Deficiency (-)

Picture27 => -Tr - corresponds to Yang Wei Mai => Meridian in Excess (+)

Further as a mater of convenience we shall indicate in the pulsegrams only the state of organs we are interested in. Other organs may have any set of Excess and Deficiency, but this has no great value.

The "wonderful" meridians have entrance points, key points and exit points. For the best clinical effect it is enough to influence two key points of the corresponding "wonderful" meridian. Besides it in order to strengthen the effect one must influence

Ying Wei Mai in Excess (+) - we influence the exit points of this meridian

Chong Mai in Deficiency (-) we influence the entrance points.

From the practice it is obvious that when we influence the corresponding "wonderful" meridians the organs which belong to one original element have opposite meanings regarding each other. It may result in two situations

It is possible to assume that when one influences corresponding "wonderful" meridians the system of the organs is described mathematically not according to the Fu-Xi Organ, but according to the Wen-Wang Order.
