Part 4

One can often observe such diagrams. In this case it is possible to say that there arose a pair of "wonderful" meridians.

One meridian proves to be in Excess, the other in deficiency. It we compare two trigrams which a pair of wonderful meridians is submitted to, for instance, IV pair.

It is obvious that these both trigrams are the results of one digram's development

and they differ only in opposite top lines. However we should interpret these lines from the point of view of mathematics they show the opposite state of "wonderful" meridians which form a pair.

If a patient has more serious or chronic disease the pulsegrams look like this

The "wonderful" meridians which form a pair urn out to be in the same state. But it contradicts the above mentioned information. But it should be mentioned that their opposition disappears and these "wonderful" meridians form a certain common structure placed under the digram

From trigram level the system of organs turns into the previous level of development Tai Chi (the Great Limit).

If not take into consideration the sign there may be four such states according to the number of pairs of "wonderful" meridians.

There are four energy seas (the energy Sea, the Sea of Blood, the Digestion Sea, The Bone Marrow Sea) in theory and practice of China medicine. In the west acupuncture they are usually correlated to four types of temperament.

One should assume, that if a pair of "wonderful" meridians with the same meaning appears in the pulsegram these meridians form a new system. This is called "A sea" in China medicine and is presented by means of a diagram on the basis of correspondence of organs to definite phenomena and textures:

1). Lungs P are responsible for breath. Breath is connected with the energy.

2). Heart C checks the blood.

3). Spleen Rp checks the digestive processes.

4). Kidney R checks bone marrow.

The authors should like to suggest the following scheme of four seas in the Fu-Xi Order:
