NONINVASIVE MAGNETIC TRAP USED IN PEACE AND WAR.

Over the last six years about 200 patients were treated with magnetic trap. The emergent method was patented in Yugoslavia (PR P566/95) and honored laureate by WIPO - UN. Inpatients and outpatients were treated in the period from 1992 to 1998 and that 82% with post war injuries, 2.8% of the latter from World War II, 5.6% occupational injuries, 3.7% household injuries, 0.9% sport injuries and 7.5% inadvertent gunshot injuries. Both modern and traditional medical procedures were used with the outcome of 62% patients with foreign bodies removed or displaced from their bodies, in the period from 5 - 90 days 64 persons (77.1%); 91 - l20 days 12 persons (14.4%); 121-250 days 5 persons (6%) and 251-365 /12 months 2 persons (2.4%). Respectively 83 persons were treated in total. The efficiency of the method was approved with 62 percent successfully displaced or evacuated foreign ferrous bodies in the period of up to 12 months. Complications or side effects were not. recorded for the period of 6 years.
