The aim of the innovation is a physiological correction of BAPs. Diagnosing and treating diseases and conditions preceding a disease is directed to corrections of Yin- conditions of BAPs. These conditions correspond to: a) indications lower ' than 50 units taken from BAPs on electropunctural devices with a scale graduated in 100 increments; b) BAPs indications with an indication drop (ID) higher than 10 units. The indication drop higher than 10 units speaks about a moderate process of degeneration. Treating BAPs with indications lower than 50 units as well as BAPs with an ID higher than 10 units results in normalizing Yang-conditions. The method of electropunctural diagnostics by R. Voll serves as a basis for conducting topical diagnostics and treating diseases by means of electroacupuncture. A normal condition according to R. Voll makes 50 - 65 units of a quadrantal scale graduated in 100 increments. Figures lower than 50 speak about a trend towards degenerative processes, figures higher than 65 units witness an inflammatory process or a toxic aggravation in an organ or system. Modern approaches to the Voll - method are directed to correcting BAPs lower than 50 and higher than 65 units, since a point should be balanced up to 50 units. A practical goal of the Voll - method both in a medicamentary testing and in an electropunctural therapy is to balance the indications up to 50 units. Thus when treating patients with BAP indications deviated towards hypo- or hyperfunctions it is desirable to normalize points with decreased readings.
Distinctive features of the Innovated method are as follows:
Treated are BAPs (and the corresponding organs) only with indications lower than 50 units or with an ID higher than 10 units.
Numeral values of a Yin-pathology are, to our mind, insignificant for determining a degeneration stage according to classical Voll's approaches, since indications of 40 units, for example, may be taken from BAPs in case of an ontological disease, whereas indications of 20 units may witness an energetic predisposition to a pathology. More important is the value of an ID (indication drop), especially when it is higher than 10 units, e.g. indications taken from a BAP drop from 90 till 30 units (the ID makes 60 units).

A primary Yin - indications are of great importance for a patient. They serve as a reference point to estimate the dynamics of the disease and the corresponding therapy.
The most essential in the EAV-diagnostics is to our mind, to reveal Yin - conditions and to determine the main ones, i.e. those with a maximum ID and the lowest readings of BAPs which represent a pathology of the first collector. Then it follows a diagnostic testing with nosodes in order to establish a diagnosis, to define histological processes in tissues (or to define a stage of the process) and to identify the aetiology of the disease (bacterial or viral nosodes, etc.)
Further clinical investigation is based on results obtained by the EAV-diagnostics.
The EAV-diagnostics as a method is based on teachings of traditional Chinese medicine. The most important of them is the teaching of Yin - Yang. According to the teaching the Yin-processes always correspond to more severe pathologic conditions. No wonder that all 8 new meridians discovered by R. Voll in 1956 are Yin - meridians, e.g. meridians of degeneration which carry information about a severe pathology. The innovated method implies correction of a Yin - pathology alone and in this way the BAPs with indications higher than 65 units are balanced. Such an approach agrees with the latest trends of European medicine. According to these trends a therapy should not depress symptoms of a disease as it is characteristic of classical medicine. The symptoms are to be maintained and rendered harmless by means of removing toxins out of the organism, since any symptoms represent an attempt of the organism to remove interlocks in a dynamic system and to restore vitality.
A therapy directed to supporting of the organism excludes depression of high indications taken from BAPs. The idea of maintaining symptoms speaks about the necessity of stimulating low indications taken from BAPs, e.g. stimulating of Yin conditions. Of the corresponding organs by means of homoeopathy, homeotoxicology, bioenergetics, acupuncture, physio- and phytotherapy, etc. Taking into account the aforesaid I assess high indications taken from BAPs (65 units and higher) as a natural process, as a reaction of the organism striving to rid itself from a Yin - factor. High indications taken from BAPs in the EAV-diagnostics make more active the reactions of the organism directed to combating degenerative Yin conditions at preclinical stages or during a disease. These reactions must not be depressed.
